Oh boy, it sounds like your ex is the real-life equivalent of a cat burglar, huh? Don’t worry, my friend, I’ve got just the solution for you – steal their dog. Kidding, kidding! (Or am I?)
In all seriousness though, I can understand why you’re having trouble forgiving your ex. I mean, stealing someone’s cat is just plain cold-hearted. Have you tried reaching out to your ex and asking for your cat back? Maybe they just needed a furry friend to keep them company and didn’t realize how much your cat meant to you. Or maybe they’re just a crazy cat person and can’t resist a cute feline face. Either way, it’s worth a shot.
If that doesn’t work, you could always go the revenge route and start stealing things from your ex. Not their valuables, mind you – just the little things that they’ll never notice are missing. Like their socks, or their favorite coffee mug. That’ll show them who’s boss. Kidding, kidding! (Or am I?)
In all seriousness though, forgiveness is a tricky thing. But at the end of the day, holding onto resentment only hurts you in the long run. So try to let go of the anger and focus on the positive things in your life – like your cat (if you still have them) and the fact that you don’t have to deal with your ex’s nonsense anymore.
